If it makes you feel any better, I haven't come across anything negative about NTLite in my Google travels over the years. So, Nuhi when you get that big offer from someone to buy out NTLite, just make sure it's not being sold to someone that has bad intentions I would have gladly paid for other stuff too, like a CCleaner license, had they not sold out in the worst way possible and wrecked the tool with security/privacy issues galore. I think it's ridiculous when people moan about paying for a license, while they're sitting at a computer that's worth over $2,000 and a Steam library with dozens or even 100+ games in it. Heck people are slamming Windows ever since it came out, and with each update, which I also don't understand or had luck not to experience. So far the positives outweigh the negative, it would be naive to think it can be 100% positive, or that I won't make mistakes. I see it all as feedback, been like that since 2004 (nLite, vLite, NTLite).Īs I just love helping people be more productive, I wish there was no money involved, but this level would be impossible as I would need to do something else as well.Īlso the more popular the tool is, more of all kinds of people will come onboard. So I'm not surprised nor offended, there will be legit people that want a refund, there will be script fans that see it as a threat or a risk of which the flaws need to be put on display. They don't see the source to trust it completely, makes sense, it's one of the negatives of closed source. Then people on tweaking forums see NTLite as a too easy solution, that would beat the purpose of their hobby or feeling of total control.

It also doesn't help that refunds actually cost me, as payment processing company does not refund the processing fee.Īlso there is the free version to see what the tool is about, so that surprised act does not make any sense.

I went on hacking boards and read how they ridicule me while doing so, really surprising how some people can feel so entitled and without morals. Since kids and those that do not see software as someones actual effort, don't have each version cracked, they activate and ask for a refund, so I have to be more resistant than I would be in an ideal world.

How I see the occasional negative view of my work: It's better to have an open conversation. We should not ban back blindly, only if someone is ultra annoying and does not respect the help.

Since I cannot do anything about it, I'll leave the readers to decide for themselves.
